The Pucker Ridge Racing "No More Taxes Fund" consists of a NY Bred 2 year old More Than Ready colt out of the mare, Land Tax. This fund anticipates to race this colt on the NYRA circuit in the Fall of 2009. No More Taxes will be sent to Belmont to our trainer, David Prine's stable. He is currently finishing his training in SC under the watchful eye of Wes Carter.

More Than Ready is a very popular and commercial sire. For 2008, his stud fee was $60,000. His 2008 yearling colt sale average is over $126,000 (through 9/08) and his 2008 2 year old colt sale average almost $174,000. Even in the very difficult market in 2009, the 2 year old More Than Ready colts have sold for an average of over $81,000 at public auction.

Pucker Ridge Racing "No More Taxes Fund" Costs:

This Fund is being priced at a total of $65,000 including sufficient funds to cover training expenses for the yearling More Than Ready colt through December 31, 2009.

10% Ownership will require an investment of $6,500

5% Ownership will require an investment of $3,250

Future expenses will be billed monthly, in advance to cover expected expenses starting January 1, 2010.

The initial monthly billing on January 1, 2010 will be for $350 for 10% ownership and $175 for 5% ownership. Future monthly billings will be adjusted based upon actual costs and off-set by earnings.

The "No More Taxes Fund" will be set up as a New York LLC with Lois Engel as Managing Director. Each member will receive a year end K-1 statement for tax purposes. Please check with your Accountant with regards to tax implications.

Pucker Ridge Racing makes no guarantees, written or implied with regards to the yearling More Than Ready colt offered in the "No More Taxes Fund". Thoroughbred racehorse ownership is a highly speculative and extremely risky activity.
