Pucker Ridge Racing has been racing on the NYRA circuit as an entity since 2006. Prior to racing as Pucker Ridge Racing, the principal, Lois Engel had raced on the NYRA circuit as part of other partnership groups.

The first horses raced under the Pucker Ridge Racing silks have been winners. Mercy's Delight has won approximately $60K to date and Halation has won over $40K to date. Pucker Ridge Racing has a number of racehorses in the pipeline and decided to open up ownership of some of these up and coming horses to a limited number of partners.

We believe first and foremost in taking care of the health of our horses. The horses are not given performance enhancing drugs (ie-steroids) nor are they raced if there is any concern about their fitness. Having raised most of these horses from birth at our farm, Pucker Ridge Farm in Warrensburg, NY, we know their medical histories and any injuries they may have had.

Pucker Ridge Racing understands that while this business maybe about the experience and enjoyment, we always keep an eye on the bottom line. All efforts to contain costs and generate income are followed as long as it is not at the expense of the health of the horses.
